Laughter is one of the best medicines. I do a lot of that when I’m with my friend and fellow author, Linda Lael Miller. She lives in Spokane now but at one time she lived next door to me. She moved because she claimed the neighborhood was going downhill.
When she lived closer we’d exchange chapters at the end of the workday, read and critique each other’s work, we walked the track every day, and were best friends. We still are, but our friendship is far more deliberate as she lives on the other side of the state now.
This month in my Welcome Home Magazine, one of my staff members interviewed Linda on the history of our friendship and discussed her new book, The Yankee Widow, which is available now!
Don’t miss it!
