This Christmas, as part of the outside decorations, I purchased three five-foot angels for our front lawn.  They’re adorable, with bright lights shining in the dark winter night.  Their wings are gold, as is the halo, and each one is holding a large, lit, gold star.  They are perfection.  And then . . . it happened.  

A windstorm hit our area and downed the neighbor’s tree across our driveway.  If that wasn’t distressing enough, I discovered all three of my angels had toppled.  Yes, friends, I now have three fallen angels skattered across my front yard.  I can’t help but think Shirley, Goodness and Mercy had a hand in this.  I’m telling Gabriel!
