Winding Yarn
Wayne rolls my yarn for me. I have this contraption that he finds fascinating, and he seems to get a real thrill out of whirling the yarn into balls that pull out from the middle. I appreciate it, and he does a really good job.
This morning he’s winding sock yarn. When I walked by on my way from the laundry room, I found him glancing up toward the ceiling. When I asked him what he was doing, he reminded me of those television ads where a huge can of beer falls on men doing “unmanly” things. Apparently winding yarn falls into that category. I guess I just never realized a man could be traumatized by yarn.
