Tour Adventures
I have completed the fourth city of my tour and have been doing quite a bit of TV. (Personally, I feel a lot thinner on radio!) Yesterday morning in Fresno, I joined the two anchors on the FOX affiliate for the morning newscast and was seated with them. Five seconds before air time the producer asked me to raise the level of my chair. Attempting to comply, I touched the bar and immediately sank to the point my nose was level with the table top! There was some furious maneuvering as the cameras switched around to focus on the one anchor. I leapt up to readjust my chair and sat down, my heart pounding, just as the cameras focused on me. Who said life doesn’t hold adventures on a book tour!

Re: Tour Adventures
I am sure that you could write a book on "book tours". Sure wish a eastern Canadian city was part ofone of your book tours. You have a huge following in Canada.

Re: Tour Adventures
Debbie, it was great to meet you in Fresno and get my personalized copy of Summer on Blossom Street. There was a great turnout, it was just unfortunate that Barnes and Noble didn't have some sort of sound system set up, we weren't able to hear your comments when you were speaking.

Re: Tour Adventures
I'm sure your book tours are always an adventure. Glad you were back up before the camera came on again. I can't read Summer on Blossom Street fast enough. Each character has such an interesting story. Looking forward to seeing you on the 27th. I'll be sure to bring my book with me.

Re: Tour Adventures
Debbie, It was a pleasure meeting you in Fresno, CA. You are truly blessed in your talents as a writer, speaker, wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all you meet. You have many other talents as well. I loved the stories you told. You are my favorite author and it was your books that got me to enjoy and love reading. I look forward to purchasing your children's book. Be safe in your travels.
