An early weekend
Our good friends, Bob and Joan McKeon, (note dedication for Back on Blossom Street), are stopping by today. Wayne and I are planning to take them on a boat ride down the Indian River--that is, unless the dolphins and manatees decide to visit us, and in that case we'll stick around to watch them frolic! Naturally, Joan and I will spend time in my yarn room. (Yes, I have one of those in Florida, too!). Joan was the Guideposts Knitter of the Year a couple of years back and is one of those special people in my life who is more than a friend.

A "Yarn room" hmmmm..that's an idea! I could make a corner of my "Craft room" one of those! Can't wait to see you at Great Balls of Yarn Saturday! Will your friend Joan be accompanying you? Would love to meet her too! "Until we meet again!" LOL, KATHI : )

Can we see your yarn room? Do you have pictures posted? How much fun could I have in a yarn room? Lots and lots and lots. I was just putting away odds and ends of left-over yarn. Hmmm, maybe I need a yarn room! Thanks for the inspiration you are to keep me thinking and knitting.

Yes, can we see a pic of your yarn room. Wow, I am so impressed that Joan was the knitter of the year. I really need to take up the projects for Guideposts and keep my hands out of my mouth. God bless Joan for all her work and you guys just have a great weekend

Yes, I am the Joan - and I do have a very full yarn room. Maybe someday Debbie will post some pictures. Debbie and I always have a great time when we get together. I have at least a dozen projects started, but never enough time to knit. I'll have to ask Bob to start winding my yarn for me so I can do more knitting. :)
