Three Special Birthdays
This is a special week. My daughter, Jody Rose, celebrated her birthday on Tuesday the 17th, which is the same day as my daughter-in-law, Laurie 's . Jody and I have a weekend getaway planned during my trip back to Seattle in March. We’ve ordered tickets to see Hello, Dolly for Friday night and on Saturday we'll be at the Northwest Women’s Show where I'll be signing.
Today is my writing friend Martha Powers' birthday. Martha is also my walking partner. We walk and whine and plot for two miles, four times a week.
Three birthdays in one week for three very special women, who have graced my life with a multitude of blessings.

My daughter turned 19 on the 13th and my husband's birthday is this coming Saturday the 21st. My youngest grandbaby turned 1 on the 7th of this month. Also, the little grandson we are adopting is a week away. Feb 26th! Yeah! So many blessings...

Debbie, I will miss you tomorrow at the Baptist Church. I thought you were going to be there during the day andndidn't find out until today that it was at 7pm To late to get a ticket. AND I alreadyhad something planned with my "Bodacious Babes" Red Hat group. Maybe one day I will see you and Martha walking your two miles and I will say hi. A friend of mine is suppose to say hi for me to you.

Hi Debbie! My first time blogging and finding your website after a year of enjoying your wonderful books! How can I thank you for the joy I receive from reading them and listening to the audio versions to and from work everyday? It's a precious time for me and I feel just like I'm in Cedar Cove and on Blossom Street with these very real characters you've created! You have given me many smiles and for that I'm so appreciative! I'm also a knitter and crochet fan. Happy Birthday to all your friends and family! My 16yo turns 17 in about a month. I don't know where the time goes. Next year, she will be a senior in high school.

Happy Belated Birthday to Jody, Laurie & Martha! February is a good month for birthdays - my nephew is the 5th, mine is the 10th, mom is Valentine's Day, and 2 nieces are the 27th & 28th (the nieces and nephew all turn 2yo!)
