Super Bowl Sunday
Wayne and I were at Sam’s Club yesterday afternoon, stocking up on goodies for a small Super Bowl party we’re having with friends. I’m not entirely sure who’s playing, but I know the Seahawks aren’t in contention. It was a bad year for our favorite football team.
Like many of you, I'm looking forward to the commercials. From what I understand, some of them will be in 3-D this year. Although he probably won't admit it, I suspect Wayne watches the game for the commercials, too. I think he’s hoping for another wardrobe malfunction.

We don't do sports and I am sure we are out numbered.. even in our own family.. We just came back from lunch with our Friday family lunch... all the brothers and sister-laws there are 7 of us.. All the men dabble in wood doing something... and the woman except me dabble in yarn and cloth. I dabble in books and they all know Debbie though me.. my sister in law just gave me a book she read at Chritmas and it was Debbie... Sence my husband says no to the idea of a trip for my birthday gift i gave him a list of books i want... and told my children if they need idea's to check out my blog I hate for anyone to not have an idea... LOL... Debbie if you need some nice wood pieces home made.. I know some great Wood Boys who do great work..And that is their last name...

I will be glued to watching the football game. I always cheer for the team that has "boys" from Minnesota......I guess I will be cheering for both this year. John Carlson #89 who plays for your beloved Seahawks is a good friend of ours and his dad taught school with my husband. My husband is an assistant coach at St. John's University in Collegeville with John Gaglardi. Enjoy the time with your friends.

Super Bowl Happens here...Got a program to go to with church by 6:00 pm here so the end of the game will be watched by hubby.

I am not a football fan, but since Bruce Springsteen is performing, I will watch him. Have been to three of his concerts with my children. The last one was when I was 75 years old and now am 81. Love your books.

YEAH STEELERS!!! I just LOVE rubbing into my husband that I WAS RIGHT in my opinion of who was going to win!!! Of course he knows I'm a big Steelers fan anyway and love you Troy #42!! I should have betted, but I hate taking advantage of people (namely my hubbie) Needless to say I'm ALL smiles today!! WHOO-OO GO STEELERS!! LOL Kathi : )
