American Idol
Tonight is the night. American Idol--my favorite television show, starts this evening and I can hardly wait. I’m under no misconception of my own singing ability. Anyone who has ever heard me do karaoke (and that number is exceptionally few) will testify I should stick to my day job. Still, I know what it is to dream and I feel a certain kinship with the contestants. I encourage others to dream big dreams because you never know where those dreams might take us . . . we might even end up on American Idol. Well, you might, but don’t expect to see me!

Dreams do come true... or parts of them.... I wished for a new book store.. Well as you know I have a new and used online store.. well I now have a new one on another site. And the first book I sold was Susannah's Garden. Thanks Debbie... You can find all my Debbie books ecrater...

I had a client tonight so missed American Idol AND the Biggest loser. Could not tape it either. My vhs died. So I am hopping my firneds on the Womans Day Forum will keep me informed.
Yes, we did get alot of rain today. It would have been a lazy day if I was off. It just poured over at the hospital where I work. Tell me, is Bogie ok with rain? Or do you think he would have like the snow up in your home state?

I am so glad American Idol is back on. When Carrie Underwood won. I had picked her from her audtion to win and was shocked when I was right. Well hubby wanted Bo Bice so he has not watched it since. He did peek last year on the last night and he thought the right David won. I think so as well. So many dreams are coming true through American Idol even if the contestant does not win.

Why does AI have to come on same time as NCIS... I like both.. and sence my husband puts up with Suviver I have to let him have his turn... I guess I will have to learn how to tape a show... LOL... I have a few weeks as the crazyness is on right now.. Hope you all enjoyed it...

My husband and I watched American Idol last night too. I only liked the girl with the long dark hair & "big" tooth smile. I don't know if she'll win, but I think she'll go far on that show...& that girl with the bikini!! She WILL NOT go far...the show's funny and sad at the same time seeing all those people hoping to get a shot at their dream. I'm still waiting on mine too...a tea room (sigh!)someday.... LOL Kathi :)
