Fun with Phones
I had a fun telephone conversation with a Boca Raton, Florida readers group last night.  They meet every other month, have a potluck and discuss a book.  This time they were reading TWENTY WISHES,  and I was excited to chat with them.  At one point in the discussion they asked me to listen carefully.  The phone went quiet , and then I heard what sounded like fireworks in the background—only it wasn’t.  The noise was the sound of these fun ladies parading around the floor popping bubble wrap!  I loved having this scene from  TWENTY WISHES replicated!

Oh Gracious Debbie,
Twenty Wishes was actually the "First" Book of your series "Blossom Street" that I read and I just LOVED IT!! As soon as I finished that book I got on line and ordered the other three books in that series! I am now finished with all all of them except the Christmas one that a good friend has told me about! I would have loved to have been amoung those women popping those bubble raps!!!
Thank you for all of those books! I have seen myself in everyone of those books!!
A Forever Fan,
Cheri Brown

Twenty Wishes touched my heart. The greatest thing is that my mom is now reading all the time, when she didn't really read for pleasure before, and your books are her favorites. She even had me print out a list of them so she could mark them off. That readers group sounds like great fun!

Re: Fun with Phones
Since I retired I have been reading your books and can't get enough of them. I have an elderly lady down the street and after she lost her husband she went into a depression of not doing anything. I started by giving her my books BLOSSOM STREET series. I was off to the library to get two of you books at a time. She could not wait to read the next book. Now she asks me if there is another book coming out soon???? Yes she read Twenty Wishes and loved it. Come on Debbie when is the next one coming?

Re: Fun with Phones
You may not remember, but I was one of the lucky ladies to meet you in Coral Gables a couple of months ago & had my "Twenty Wishes" written on the inside of my "Twenty Wishes" book! You already know how much I enjoyed your book but anyhow, popping those bubbles are fun for everyone of every age...I'm about to do it now!! I have one sheet I keep on hand for when my nephews visit me here in our office to keep them amused for about 10 seconds; I would love to meet & greet someone in the Palm Beach Gardens FL area that are also big fans of yours & to discuss your books over a "cuppa"! I mozied on down to "Great Balls of Yarn's" store in West Palm Beach & met some nice ladies that remember you from their Vero Beach store...I've been saving my "Cedar Cove Christmas" book for closer to Christmas time after I re-read some of your previous Christmas books first...They help get me into the "spirit" of Christmas...especially those angels!! Well, have a Happy Thanksgiving!!! Thinking of you always, LOL! Kathi :)
