How my family managed to pull this off without me knowing is beyond me. To say I was surprised was putting it mildly. I was stunned. Shocked. Overwhelmed. Family and friends from all over the country came to surprise me on Saturday night. Nearly our entire wedding party showed up, three of my dearest high school friends, old neighbors, and people I hadn’t seen in years. I have to hand it my daughters--I never knew they were so good at keeping a secret!

that is so cool!!!!what a big surpise... we did that for our mom years ago the look on her face was one we will never forget!!!! hope ya'll got alot of good pictures..... I'M SURE YOUR DAUGHTERS OR PROUD OF PULLING IT OFF THATS A HARD JOB TO DO KEEPING ALL THOSE SECRETS!!!! WAY TO GO GIRLS...... AND AGAIN THANK YOU DEBBIE FOR BEING WHO YOU ARE!!!!!!!!!!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, My October Birthday Sister! My birthday is 10/23/48. This past Friday my brother made sure we had a Family October Birthday Dinner. It wasn't a surprise, but it gave a very stressful and sad day for me a happy, wonderful topping. I hope your day is blessed. Barbara B., Philly

Happy Belated Birthday, Sounds like a good time was had by all..We did that for my Mom on her 80th She had just come to live near us after Dad died. so it was great and she was very surprised. And she then told everyone that its was her first birthday party ever. Glad we did it.

So glad to hear you were "SURPRISED!!"! Your daughters are truly "Special" to provide such an "Grand" party!! Next time you're in Florida in October..we'll celebrate together!! My birthday is October 8th!! Happy! Happy! (although, now that I think about it, this was my last birthday celebration!) It's all on the downside now! LOL Kathi :}

What a wonderful surprise, that is so nice of them. Hope you have a great b-day and thank you for the wonderful card that was so special of you to send me a card. And to think of my grand baby she is beautiful I will have to send you a picture of her. Have a great day!!!!!!!!!

Thank you so much for the card. It was in my mail today. We had Book Club tonite and I shared some of your works with my group. Some were interested in the Twenty Wishes. It's sitting in my pile to read even if it's not the choice of the group. some in the group are interested because the know your work from Daily Guidpost. I also was really inspired by your selection in DG for today. We have much more in common I see. Thank you for inspiring me.
