Oh how I envy you. I am planning to move back home to Michigan in May of next year and I want to have the grandkids ALL THE TIME!! I miss them terribly.

Oh, have fun! I hope when I have grandchildren, they live close enough for me to enjoy often!

My two grandbabies were taken from us by the State because we are adopting their 1/2 brother and the state feels we need to focus on the adoption of him. BUT...still no reason to take our grandbabies and we are going to fight it all we can as we have had them minus 6 months since birth on both of them. Wish us luck and most of all keep us in your prayers. Have a great weekend Debbie. We get our grandbabies for the day tomorrow. They will not even allow them to spend weekends with us so my granddaughter is taken it hard. She keeps asking me, Mama when do we get to come home?" Sad, when you do not have an answer.

Mamagee - That is really sad that the State hasn't looked at the best interest of the children. I hope you can find a way to fight back. Perhaps contact your elected officials about how to fight this, I would suggest a lawyer but then that takes oodles of money... Can you do online search about what others have done to get grandkids back? Just some ideas? This is sad. Goodluck and I'll be praying for you and the little ones.

Hey! That ALL sounds like fun! Kids or no kids! I might treat myself to a pedicure (since I didn't get chance to on MY birthday! Cupcakes!???? I can make them for my grandnephews! Don't know how to make cider but I know where to buy some! That ought to keep ME busy this weekend! :)
