Birthday Wish

My staff took me to lunch today for my official birthday.  Renate, Wanda, Heidi and Carol all know me so well and their gifts to me reflected that.  Heidi gave me a plaque with an Erma Bombeck saying that I thought I would share with you.  It read:  When I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope that I would have not a single bit of talent left and could say.  “I used everything You gave me.”  My wish is that I will be able to say the very same thing.

Happy birthday! I celebrated mine on the 15th. I didn't realize we're practically twins!?!

The plaque is certainly a lovely gift, and so meaningful. Erma Bombeck reached many people with her wisdom--because of her wit!

Happy Birthday Debbie! I hope you get everything you wish for when you blow out your candles.
I just got 20 wishes from the library today and sat and read it all in one sitting. Thank you for another touching and heart-warming story! Perhaps it is time for me to start my own list of wishes....

Happy Belated Birthday, Debbie. My big sis lives in Chicago and purchased "Twenty Wishes" from you when you were there for the book signing. I have read the book so far three times. Love the Cedar Cove series. They do become like family and can't wait to see what happens to all of them.
