A Blessed Life
I once heard it said there are two types of people in the world. Those who wake and say Good Morning, God! and those who say Good God, morning. I’ve been blessed with the happy gene and generally wake up in a great mood. And with good reason: I live a blessed life.
One such blessing came to me this morning on the drive to the swimming pool at 5:30 a.m. It was still pitch dark out , and the moon was full and huge and seemed to fill the entire sky. Ah, what a gorgeous moon! I sincerely doubt that anyone could gaze at that moon and not feel incredibly blessed.

Re: A Blessed Life
you must have had the same moon as we did in Florida last night, it lit up my solar skylights and the pool. It was absolutely gorgeous. When I got up this am at 6:00 the moon was really just beautiful, I should have gotten the camera out and taken a picture. Those moments are the best, one with God and peace in the early am

Re: A Blessed Life
That moon was gorgeous! My husband and I just got home (7:00 pm) and we watched the moon rise from the east as we were driving the same direction. So big and beautiful, just awesome. So many of the blessings we receive in life are through others. You qualify as a blessing to us by sharing the gift He has given you. One of my favorite scriptures comes from the Doctrine and Covenants (scriptures we use in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints) that says ....remember the worth of souls is great in the sight of God (D&C 18:10). It just reminds me daily how much God loves each of us, his children, and seeks to bless us each all that we will allow him too. Aren't we blessed!!!

Re: A Blessed Life
The moon was beautiful here in chilly but sunny days in Idaho. Taking my kiddo to school this morning I thought even with all that is going on in my life that "God will never fail me!" Amen! Then I get 8 Sandpiper Way in the mail today and said, Yes, this is a good day. :) I am finishing up Twenty Wishes here before I head to bed so that a new Debbie Macomber book begins tomorrow. Blessings to you all, mamagee
