Time to Celebrate!
A huge thank you to all my wonderful readers! I am over the moon. Yesterday afternoon I received word that 8 SANDPIPER WAY soared to the number one slot on the New York Times list its very first week out! I want each one of you to know I appreciate the fact you spend some of your hard-earned dollars to purchase my books. Your constant support is a wonderful encouragement to me.
Wayne and I will celebrate this weekend with our friends, the Wilsons from Colville. The Wilsons and Wayne and I share a wedding anniversary, so there will be a double celebration this weekend. Champagne, anyone?

Re: Time to Celebrate!
Congratulations on both your number one slot and your anniversary. Thank you for writing such wonderful stories. I love having discussions about your books with family and friends. I am fortunate to be able to afford your books at this time, but I also enjoy sharing them with my family and friends who may not be able to purchase them. I am going to celebrate my 27th wedding anniversary next weekend so I will be right behind you with the Champagne. ENJOY! Sandi

Re: Time to Celebrate!
I bought a copy as always. I was practically living at the bookstore waiting for it to come out! I am in the middle of starting a new job and finishing Always Dakota, so it's had to wait... much to my chagrin.

Re: Time to Celebrate!
I bought my copy the first day out and finished it that that. It was hard to go to work the next day with almost no sleep! Thanks again for a great story Debbie. On a side note-Happy Anniversary. My wonderful husband & I celebrated our 30th anniversary on Labor Day. We took our grandkids out for pizza and ice cream. There's no better way to celebrate than with grandbabies is there? Congratulations to you!

Re: Time to Celebrate!
I bought 8 Sandpiper Way at Costco the day after it came out and loved it!! My husband and I celebrated our 26th anniversary today by going to a new restaurant at the hotel where he works in Reno. Unfortunately, we were unable to have any champange since he cannot drink in the 8 hours before he goes to work. We will celebrate later though!!!

Re: Time to Celebrate!
Oh Debbie that's fantastic! Congrats on the List and on your anniversary! I admit I went out and got Sandpiper way the day it came out. :) I want to thank YOU for writing such wonderful stories. There isn't one yet that hasn't made me cry or that hasn't touched me in some way, and I can't say that for most of the authors I read. Your talent is natural and you should be very proud of yourself. :) Send me a little bubbly! :)

Re: Time to Celebrate!
Congrats! I knew it would be on the NY list!! I bought it too and I am waiting to read it after I get the house "secured". Debbie, are you watching the weather? Hurricane Ike is heading for us. Hope your home here is safe and secured down. If you need any after pictures, I have a digital and can send them through the computer to you. We are getting rain now from Hanna but she is heading up to the Carolina's.

Re: Time to Celebrate!
Debbie, I am anxious to get the book but have to wait as I am not in the position to buy it write now. That is not normally normal because I get them within a day or two normally but getting the grandbabies back and then my little grandbaby having tohave surgery on the 12th. Other things have to come first. Also a daughter that went off to the Portland, OR area to go to college. But I CONGRAT you on the book going #1 and also A very Happy Anniversary to you and Wayne. My husband and I will be married 12 years a couple days after Christmas. I am anxious to read 8 Sandpiper Way. So maybe next payday. Got my fingers crossed. God Bless You Debbie for your beautiful stories.

OF COURSE it made #1! I know I was drooling, waiting for it to come out, and gobbled it up in one day! Now, I just have to wait for "A Cedar Cove Christmas," and all your other "goodies" coming out (must learn patience)!
How wonderful to have two such amazing accomplishments to celebrate; congratulations, Debbie and Wayne!

Re: Time to Celebrate!
I am looking forward to purchasing the #8 in the Cedar Cove Series and purchasing the others for my very own. I just finished series up to #7 series thanks to Mary S., former book manager at Goodwill and my neighbor who was kind enough to lend them to me. I am a new-ish reader of your books, but I am so excited about reading your books that I peruse all the thrift shops for as many of your books as possible ! I even bought a book case to put right beside my recliner just for your books !!I got my Sister and Neice hooked on the Cedar Cove Series. My Sis is on vacation in CA until Dec. and she just loved the #8 book. T told them both they need to get the others, too !! My Neice is reading #8 still.I so enjoy seeing all the familiar places I know of since moving here in 1962 and graduating from SKHS in 1965 !! Go Debbie Go !!! And congratulations on yours and Wayne's Anniversary !!

Re: Time to Celebrate!
Debbie, this is for you reader Katsue who is scouring bookstores for earlier books. I have found ALOT of your earlier books and the Paper Back book store here if Vero Beach. If she wants them when I am finished she can pay the postage and I will mail them to her when I am done.
Hope you and Wayne had a good anniversary. Oh, and by the way, it was in the paper that the Quilted Giraffe here in Vero Beach will not be closing. The announcement was in the paper a few days ago.
