Labor Day Weekend
Grandma Camp was a huge success. We had so much fun camping that when it ended, I understand both girls went home and took naps! But then, so did I, for three days in a row--the entire Labor Day weekend!
We cooked and baked, and I taught them to knit, too. We had so much fun that we’re already planning camp for next summer. Only next year I think I’ll start taking naps a week in advance.

do know what you mean, we were the same way after we had the three grandkids the week before their schools started. It really takes the starch out of your britches keeping up with them. My grandson was such a help with all the meals, he is 14 1/2 and they were all good. Of course that was the first week of olympics and we were all into watching it staying up way too late. Don't you just love it though

It sounds like you had a really great time. That is so good that you taught them to knit. My grandma use to crochet and I regret that I never had her teach me. I have a beautiful afghan that my sister's mother-in-law made for me. I am teaching myself to crochet so I can teach my daughter and hopefully my grandchildren also.

We are raising 3 grandbabies right now and pretty much since they were born. They are now 3.5, 2.5 and 1.5 and they have run me ragged this past weekend. Then found out little one has to have surgery on the 12th. I get frustrated but would not have it any other way. Glad you had a great time this past weekend. We did make cookies. LOL!

Grandma Camp! I'll have to remember that when-ever I become a Grandma!!! It looks like it'll be a long time yet! LOL Kathi :)
