Popping the Cork!
It’s party time for the Macomber household. First off, I’m finishing the writing process on SUMMER ON BLOSSOM STREET, my 2009 hardcover. I still need to edit and polish it before my editor sees it, but the first major step is just a few pages from being complete. Secondly, I received word from my agent this morning that the negotiations for my new contract are complete. This means that two more Blossom Street books, two additional Cedar Cove books, and two more Christmas stories are now on my schedule. I do believe Wayne and I will be sipping champagne tonight.

Hi Debbie,
Let me be among the first to congratulate you on the completion of your book and your new contract. I will be anxiously awaiting all of the books coming out. Have a little of that champagne for me.

Hi Debbie and congratulations are being sent your way from Culdesac, Idaho.
I can't wait for the new books to start coming out. If you put out two new ones every month that would suit me fine. lol

Re: Popping the Cork!
popping the cork for the Macomber family, but just as much to celebrate with your readers as we know more good things are coming our way! I hope the Christmas books let us visit with Shirley, Goodness and Mercy and can't wait to see what is up with the Blossom Street gals and maybe meet some new neighbors.

I'm a relatively new reader and am looking forward to the Blossom Street books. Have just started the Cove Road series on recommendation from doctor's office staff! Keep up the great writing.

Re: Popping the Cork!
Congrats Debbie! I'm so happy for me and you...I get more books and you get to write more books...I call that win-win!
I especially love the Christmas books; Christmas Letters has to be (so far) my favorite, I just love the thought of "tweaking" a Christmas letter.
Keep on writing and we'll keep on reading...Penny

Re: Popping the Cork!
wow, fantastic news about all the books, keep them coming, we read them as fast as we can. Enjoy the rest of summer and that bottle of champagne. My husband Bob and I get up some mornings, (since we are retired any day is good) we have mimosas and feel really wicked having alcohol in the am but it goes great with an omelet and only do it 2 or 3 times a year. At our age you have to do something wicked at times.

Debbie,
My sincere congratulations. Writing is so relaxing, & when you have finished a book it's even more of a great feeling to know that you have almost completed a deadline.

Congratulations! While that means more work for you (and hopefully more fun), it also means more Macomber for us. Everyone wins!

Re: Popping the Cork!
I THROUGHLY enjoy your books and looking forward to more Cedar Cove and Blossom Street. There are several of us who share you books at work and get into book discussions about them. I really forward to your Christmas Books around the Christmas Holiday. It just makes the spirit of Christmas better. When are you coming to Ann Arbor Michigan?
