Homecoming
Wayne and I rolled into our driveway last Saturday night both exhausted and excited to be home at last. We drove from the signing in Miami to my last signing in Fort Wayne, Indiana and then on to Port Orchard with a couple of stops in between. For the last thousand miles we were like horses heading for the barn. The very first thing I did, even before unpacking the suitcases, was hug my grandchildren. Now that, my friends, is a real homecoming.

Re: Homecoming
There is nothing like coming home after a trip, and seeing loved ones, too. I'd sure love to see the Seattle area sometime, even before I started reading the Cedar Cove books. I was looking up different locations, on Google Earth today. Port Orchard must be so pretty.

Re: Homecoming
I too have our picture from Dunedin in a place of honor, surely loved meeting you. I have the Daily guideposts for 2008 and you wrote several devotions in there and have enjoyed reading them. I especially like the one about your son eating a bite out of the desserts in the fancy restuarant
