Back in the Swim of Things

I was back in the office last Monday but now I’m really back.   This morning I started writing again.  Yippee!  While I love meeting my readers and actually do well on tour, I’m happiest when I’m sitting in front of my computer with an entire group of people no one else can see.  (Some people get sent off to the loony bin for the very same thing—I guess I should be more careful what I say.)

I’m back to swimming a half mile in my local pool, too.  After six months out of the water (I walk in Florida) I wasn’t sure how long it would take to get back into the swim of things—pun intended.  Okay, so it wasn’t pretty, but I made it the entire half mile.

You go girl!! I walk on the tread mill at work. It is too hot now here in Vero to walk outside. Beach might be ok early morning or late evening. We have been getting our usual 4 pm thunderstorms. No hurricane in the mix as yet.
Enjoyed seeing you and showing you my two dishclothes I knitted. Margie, Vero Beach

Good for you for getting back into the swim of things! While my kids can easily swim 1/2 mile without even getting a little bit winded - I think it might take me 1/2 a day to complete that distance! Dog paddling isn't the most energy efficient stroke. :)

Glad you are home safely. Hopefully your next tour will include Redding, CA!

It is so nice to hear that everything is back to normal for you. I have a hard time getting back into my routines after I travel for work. I know it must be nice to be back in your own bed.

Welcome Home! As we leave for family camp. We will be taking two new foster children with us this time. Seems like we always have some addition to our family and have for over 3 years but there is always time to read. August is not far off when we go back to read number 8 on the Cedar Cove Series!!! I am ready!

Re: Back in the Swim of Things
I want you to know I am sitting happily in front of my computer updating on your blog post. I couldn't access my account on here for a long time. But it's all good now. (I was busy with our 4-H kids at the county fair and now I am busy with our town festival. So I didn't try really hard this summer, because I was way too busy to change the password. :) But I am back...at least for today!

I have to say I agree with your comment that your happiest when you are in front of your computer with people you don't know. People are really listening and sharing their hearts when they talk in their blogs. I just think that you can learn so much more from people online because they open up more without fear of what others think. So greetings from my looney bin to yours. LOL
