What a Week!

I am in Las Vegas, and wow what a week it has been!  When I arrived in Vegas, I had to hit the tarmac running, as my flight had arrived late, and I had to get to my signing for the wonderful folks at the Paseo Library in Henderson.  I did just make the Carr Chat and signing on time, and it was fabulous!

It was standing room only, and the good librarians surprised me and their patrons with samples of the foods from the recipe cards that I’m giving away with the book, TWENTY WISHES.  What a treat!  My editor was at the signing, so that was very gratifying.  And Wayne is in town, too!

Today I have more signings, and tomorrow I’ll fly home to Port Orchard for Mother’s Day and three more signings before I head out again on Tuesday, bound for Baltimore, Maryland.  Keep up with me if you can!

Happy Mother’s Day to all you moms out there!

Re: What a Week!
Yes! Happy Mother's Day to you Debbie. I am fairly sure you prefer the beauty and serenity of Port Orchard vs. Vegas. Right now I am a fly on the wall at the Thanksgiving Dinner with Cliff, Cal, Grace, Maryellen, Jon and Katie. This is the 5th book of the Cedar Cove series I am now at 50 Harbor Street. as you know, having only started 2 weeks ago. I am simply addicted. Cannot imagine how it must have been for my fellow readers who had to wait for a year for each new edition. So I have it pretty good in catching up. You stay safe, and hopefully an easy flight home for the weekend. Cheers, until later! Good luck with your tour as always! Yours, Esther from Dallas

Re: What a Week!
I finished TWENTY WISHES. It was great. I am looking forward to Anne Marie and Ellen going to Paris. And since I am the same age as Lillie the news from her would interest me. Have a great time in Las Vegas. LV is one of my favorite places and I have not been there in two years.

Happy Mothers Day to you too Debbie.
I know that running around like a chicken with it's head cut off can't be a lot of fun but how great to meet all those people that love your books as much as I do.
Safe flying and try and rest as much as you can.

Re: What a Week!
Happy Mother's Day Debbie & all Moms out there. I was just in Las Vegas myself a week and half ago. Really is some neat stuff there. I come home and had surgery so i am getting to try and catch up on my reading. I was waiting for the new Twenty Wishes to come out so I finally got to read "Morning Comes Softly" Really Great Book. My husband was a dear, went and got my new book Twenty Wishes. I am starting that one today. I will enjoy the book and watch my kids and husband play on the 4 wheelers. Have a Great Weekend and God Bless You Always.

Re: What a Week!
I read Twenty Wishes as I said before and have just loaned it to my daughter. I finished Someday Soon and it was great. You made my week. The daughter and kids have just left to go back home, had a great MOther's day, the older son was here too, he lives with us, he is disabled due to HIV. The younger son and family sent flowers and we are going to see them next weekend, the granddaughter has a gymnastics competition and also her first communion. Just getting ready to talk to my younger sister, she was with her family today, she lives in Louisville, KY. I could live there too, what a great little southern town. Hope you had a great day, sincerely

I can't wait to meet you!! I made a copy of all the books you wrote and I'm keeping tract of how many I have to read. Of course i've read all of the Cedar Cove series and can't wait to read the new one in September! I'm telling you all this now, because I'm sure I won't be able to at the "signing". I just wanted you to know how much I love your books and it will be a pleasure to finally meet you...can't wait!!! "Best" Wishes, Kathi :)
