Like Twins
On Saturday we’re taking off to visit our friends, Joan and Bob McKeon (check out the dedication for Back on Blossom Street). Joan and I are like twins separated at birth: We both love the Lord and knit like fiends. In addition, we’re charter members of the frequent eaters club. Between talking about yarn, sharing recipes, and deciding where we’ll go out to eat, I imagine the weekend will fly by. Wayne and I are grateful to have friends like Joan and Bob and Tink and Renelle in our lives.

Re: Like Twins
Friendship is one of the best gifts that God has given us. I have read that in biblical days the more people ate together the more they became friends. In fact, hospitality was a high priotity and if an emeny had your food in their stomach--they could not be killed.

I hope you had a great time with your friends. Just had to tell you I love the pictures of your knitting projects. I only with I was so prolific. We spent the weekend in Montana with all of our kids and grandkids and my daughter who has never shown the slightest interest in crocheting or knitting has developed a passion for it since Christmas. With a little help she made the cutest baby booties for a friend while we were driving back to Washington yesterday. Hallelujah! I never thought it would happen. Now we're busy talking yarn shops and bamboo, aluminum or plastic needles? It's a great bonding tool!
