Warm Up America! Weekend

This past weekend’s Warm Up America! Knit Out was my first experience at this event.  I was awestruck meeting designers Candi Jensen, Susan B. Anderson, Kristin Nicholas, Antje Gillingham and Karen Thalacker.  I’ve knit patterns these wonderfully creative women have published.  It was a thrill for this knitter’s heart to rub elbows and hang with them . . . and they were so nice!  And not a single one asked me to show them my knitting . . . thank goodness!

Re: Warm Up America! Weekend
Now you know how we feel when we rub elbows with you, awestruck is the best word to cover it. I have told everyone I see about meeting you last year and ask them if they read you and then explain about your books and a lot of women are glad to know that you are out there writing books that are exciting, loving, friendly, and just plain good for the soul. Glad you had a good time.

Glad you had a great time! Warm up America! is a great organization. We do it locally at our church for the foster care program.

Last week at this time my sisters & I were at Mall of America. We are sooo happy we met you & your cousin. What a great time watching the fastest knitters. Glad to be inside where it was warm & no wind.
