My Brother
My brother and his wife arrived for a short visit. Yup, this is the very one who, along with two of my cousins, made copies of my diary and sold it to the boys in my 8th grade class. This is also the brother who locked me out of the bathroom when I was trying to get ready for a date. We only had one in our home. And then he jumped down the laundry shoot and into the basement and refused to come upstairs when my date rang the door bell. I had to answer . . . in my curlers. There is justice in this world though. Terry grew up to have children just like him.

I hope you enjoy your visit. My brother now get along as adults. He and his wife even helped with my wedding a couple of years ago. Of course when he was younger (Just in college and home for vacation he tried to break my arm.) Hmmm....he also has kids. God got him good...lol He has two girls.

Re: My Brother
I can sure relate to the brother story. My first date with what turned out to be my husband was a nervous time for me. He was 4 yrs older. My brother opened the door, drinking a malt, and hollered Jan, Mike is here at the top of his lungs. So embarassing then. He is a great and supportive brother now.

Re: My Brother
I know how brothers can do that. Funny thing is our brothers little things they have done will always be in our hearts and most of all our memories of good times in life.

Re: My Brother
I beginning feel lucky, I didn't have brothers only sisters, I do however, in hindsight feel sorry for my father. It had to put up with 4 women on Sunday am getting ready for church with only one bathroom. Isn't amazing how well we get along with our siblings when we get older? My daughter has a few stories to tell about her two brothers and she wishes she had only had sisters. Not really, they all get along so well now and yes, their children pull the same stunts. I am looking forward to my younger sister in less than 2 weeks down from Louisville, we always have a great time.

Debbie...
Am so sorry for your recent loss of such a Dear Friend.
God granted me a very special blessing back on May 17, 2003. I was with my only sister, Pat, as she passed on to be with the Lord @ 3:30 that morning. I knew of her love and her life's dedication to the Lord. She was a wonderful prayer warrior. I miss that alot now...being able to share our prayers together. But when I have sad days, I think about God's promises in scripture for those who love Him and I wouldn't change a thing for her.
We will get to be with them again someday in God's timing.
God Bless, Mountainrose
