Rules for Passengers
We shipped Wayne’s precious sports car from Seattle to Florida this time around.  Because of inclement weather and poor driving conditions his Acura NSX didn’t arrive until yesterday afternoon.  As soon as the phone call came that the car was in town and would be delivered shortly, Wayne started pacing like an expectant father.  Once it was safely secure in his garage, he reviewed the passenger rules.  Right off the top—NO KNITTING.  Apparently it destroys his imagine.  NO WAVING and most important of all, NO SMILING.  The cool factor is drastically diminished if I appear overly friendly.  Who would believe that riding in a sports car could be so demanding?

Re: Rules for Passengers
Knitting is important even though I crochet but Smiling is a gift from God. Tell him he needs to smile in his sports car to. God Bless,

Re: Rules for Passengers
Your husband is a stitch. At least your husband likes to help you. It takes everything I have all I can do just to get mine to fold towels. I first saw your book Cedar Cove 74 and started to read it. I read in one day. I went to work and was telling the girls all about this great book and Author. They laughed at me and asked me where have I been. Well since then I have read all of Cedar Cove and The Good Yarn series. They are wonderful. I have a list of all your books inmy purse and I am going down the list. I am currently reading Country Brides. I can't put it down. You bring the characters to us. We talk about them at work and it's we are talking about our family. I don't know how to knit but the girls at work said they would show me. Will you be coming to Houston any time soon? We have a Books A Million in Katy Texas. We would love to see.

Re: Rules for Passengers
at least he picked a better car than my husband did, he got the bug while we were in Boston and had a model A truck shipped down to us a few years ago. When we started the move from Miami to central Fl he decided there was just not enough room for the Harley and the truck, he also owns a 1999 F150 truck and I have a Honda van, the rules here are strict and so he sold his little love. WE found the most wonderful couple from Texas who happened to be insurance brokers, they were down because of one of the hurricanes, anyway, they loved it so, he felt good about selling it and of course we lost money, Bob is not a good salesman. The family of the couple live on ranches in Texas and own several antique cars, so the little green truck got a good home. We had many an adventure in that truck, rain dates, break downs, etc. It was fun, the boys do love their toys. But the no knitting part surely won't last will it? We found a lot of car buffs around this part of the state we are really closer to the west coast than the center of the state. The parades are great we have so many pictures of wonderful old and new cars. Enjoy, the car you two.

Re: Rules for Passengers
That is nice he has a "special" car down here now. He can toul up and down A1A in style. A guys has to have something special that is his own. I can respect that. Maybe you should remind him of the chocolate bar fiasco and that he owes you! One trip down A1A and you would be allowed to do the "queen" wave with your hand back and forth and have a little smile. Glad you are down here. Maybe see you around.
