God's Little Surprises
I met with Martha Powers and Roxanne St. Claire yesterday for our annual goal-setting session. We’ve been doing this for the last three or four years now, sharing with one another our vision for the upcoming year. I always come away encouraged and inspired by my two friends.
What I found interesting about our most recent lunch was that we spent the majority of our time discussing the little “surprises” God sent our way through 2007. Two of mine were being asked to throw out the opening pitch at the Seattle Mariners game and meeting Delilah, the radio personality. Just talking about all the good things in life makes me all the more eager for all God has in store for each one of us in 2008.

Re: God's Little Surprises
My sister Lynn,in Lousiville KY, and I had read your book "Knit Together" and we are talking about goals for the year. We decided to make notes and when she is down visitng in February we are going to devote a day to setting our goals for sure. We both have talked your book over backwards and forwards and it has been a great help to Lynn. She is 5 years younger than me and still working in banking and it helped her to get things together for her yearly evaluation. We said we would like to set our goals together like you do with friends. I just finished another angel book, "Angels Everywhere". My older son gave me 3 white Lenox angels for Christmas and I guess you know what their names are. As always have a great day,

Re: God's Little Surprises
My goal sheet sits here empty as I prepare for two grandchildren to leave. I am having a tough time getting focused even on my two words for the year but I know God will help me get back on track.
