Cry Baby

Remember how I complained about what a big baby my husband is when he’s sick?  Well, guess what?  Those words are coming back to taunt me.  I’ve caught a wretched cold and am miserable.  I have places to go, people to meet, and all my plans are crumbling at my feet.  I slept nine hours Sunday night and took a three-hour nap Monday afternoon.  I had chicken noodle soup for lunch and again for dinner.  I woke up feeling crummy again today.  No fair.  That sound you hear is me whining and stamping my foot.  You know, I just might be a cry baby, too.

Re: Cry Baby
Poor Debbie, it is no fun having a cold. I can believe you have a cold as our weather has been so crazy. You hear people around here coughing and sneezing and blowing their noses. Bob and I just have our fingers crossed we don't catch it. Be careful, Bob and I had colds last fall and I wound up with pneumonia. Don't hesitate to see a doctor. Take care of yourself and may God bless you,

Debbie, there must something going on in the Vero Beach and over on the island where you are. I have been sick since last Thursday. On Monday I dragged myself to work but I am feeling better today. I WILL get a flu shot next year!

Re: Cry Baby
My husband is so a big cry baby too! Everytime he gets sick he says something to the tune of "Can you just call my mom?" AHHH! I think we as wives and the keepers of all things should be able to be cry babies too!!! Love Ya Debbie, and hope you feel better soon!!!

Re: Cry Baby
I had an awful cold for New Year's. Since I have breathing problems anyway, Doc told me to use Children's Grape Dimetap, and Mucinex. It didn't make the cold go away, but it sure helped the symptoms! Of course, after a couple days of being sick, you're expected to cook, clean, do laundry, etc.... What would guys DO without us!! LOL Hope you feel better really soon!!

Re: Cry Baby
I hope you feel better soon Debbie. Whatever it is, it's going around Washington too! Out of a 5 person office, 3 are out sick and the 2 of us that are left are running around like a couple of crazy people trying to keep up! I'll be praying for a quick recovery for you, (and that Wayne doesn't get it!)

Re: Cry Baby
It is going around here in Idaho too. My big baby (hubby) just got over it. It was easier when my 10 mo old grandson had it then with my hubby having it. Us women we are survivors. Take care and get plenty of rest.

Re: Cry Baby
Dear Debbie, I hope you are feeling better already! Please use this time to just pamper yourself and allow those who love you the blessing of taking care of you. We mothers give, but sometimes find it difficult to allow others to give back to us.

The bug is currently visiting us here in Redding, California too! My kids so far have been spared but many of their classmates haven't been so lucky! Lots of rest and a nice cup of tea always seem to help! Feel better soon!

Okay Debbie we are all out here wondering if you are doing better, no one else has asked you. We are on pins and needles waiting to hear you are doing better. We are all praying for your return to health. Please take care and rest, eat that Chicken soup and drink lots of hot tea with honey and lemon. May your health return soon, sincerely
