Winter Storms
Wayne and I are intrepid souls.  We braved a winter storm, hostile travelers and a blizzard in order to make our annual trek to Leavenworth, WA last weekend.  After arriving home—taking eight hours for a trip that is normally three hours or less—we looked at one another and said, “We’re not doing this again.”  Okay, not in December, at any rate.   Our annual trek will now be taken in October.  While we might be intrepid, we’re not nuts.

Re: Winter Storms
We only have rain in Idaho right now.:( I want snow but many others do not. I would love for my grandbabies to see snow this Christmas, as this may be the last Christmas they actually spend with us that they live with us, as they most likely will come out of "foster care" in March. My first grandbaby will be 3 this coming Friday. It is hard to believe we have had him 3 years already. Debbie, I am reading your Knit Together book right now and I am letting your readers know if they have NOT read it READ IT. It has been such an inspiration to me. It makes me feel like not only is God jumping out of those pages at me but Debbie is heart to heart. I told my husband, it makes me feel like How did Debbie know I have stories written, a novel started and stories still to tell but I keep telling myself and others I do not have the time. Or I will when the grandbabies are back with their birth parents and on and on. I have yet to bring them up on my computer, but maybe by the time I finish reading Knit Together I will be pushed just enough to do so. :) Thank You, for your inspiration and most of all the love you have for us readers. Come to Idaho for a book signing sometime. Would love to meet you.

Re: Winter Storms
I'm so glad you are safely back a home. I have wondered about the weather in your immediate area and tried to find out by checking the weather via computer, but the information wasn't specific enough. We are as dry as a bone here and the temperature is cool, but not really cold. Pray that the Lord will send those of us in the south some of the excess water that other locations are getting. I'm sure He knows best, however, and we will eventually come out of our drought.

Re: Winter Storms
I was worried about you. I have a friend in Verornia and she said the weather is just awful. I'm so glad you're ok. After hearing about the weather there I feel lucky to be sitting in my livingroom with the foot of snow outside, thats still coming down BTW!
