Red Letter Day
This is a red letter day for me. Not only am I mailing off 8 SANDPIPER WAY (#8 in the Cedar Cove series) to my editor this morning—drum roll, please—for the first time since my rotator cuff surgery, I was able to swim a half mile. Okay, it took me half again as long as pre-surgery, but I did it, which has been a goal of mine since the first part of November. It’s a really good feeling to accomplish two goals in the same day. Oh, and you’re going to love this next installment in the Cedar Cove series. But, you’ll have to wait until September 2008 to read it.

Re: Red Letter Day
congratulations on your swim and the Cedar Cove'snext book, we (my friends and family)always wait with anticipation for your new books, I am reading and rereading all your Christmas books. I started doing that last December and I felt so good during the holiday season I decided to read them again and of course your new ones out this year. Thanks for books, they are the greatest. Re: Red Letter Day
I'm really looking forward to reading the new Cedar Cove book. I hope I can wait, but I'll have to find something else to read to fill the time until then. (Sept. 08)

Re: Red Letter Day
That is so awesome, Debbie; congrats on submitting your newest (and sure to be yummy!) part of the Cedar Cove series, and your half-mile swim! From what I read about your weather there in the past week, either swimming or rowing (got boat?)sounds like a real good plan! Please take care, dear lady. I confess: I have a selfish, vested interest in your safety-I definitely want my favorite author in shape to write!

Oh my goodness I just can't wait!! I don't want to wish my life away but I'm really looking forward to September 2008. That's my anniversary month and I'll tell my husband about 8 Sandpiper Way. My husband has MS and I told him you used his disease in your Cedar Cove family. I really want to know how Olivia is doing. I'm hoping for another upcoming wedding too. Maybe a nice sheriff and an old love??? Thank you for this wonderful series. You are truly a blessing to so many. Jenny from Alabama

Congrats on the improving health of your rotator cuff. I just don't know what I would do without your wonderful books. Keep 'em comin'!

Re: Red Letter Day
I'm reading 74 Seaside Drive, right now, and then I will have to wait, for the last one! LOL! It's been so fun, just running to the library to get the next one, while I've been reading the other books in the Cedar Cove Series. I live near a community called Cedar GROVE, here in Wisconsin. So many times, I've read Cedar Cove as Cedar Grove.

I am so glad you can swim now, I exercise in the pool all the time, I go to Curves, but find the pool is better for my arthritis. I can't wait for the Cedar Cove book , I am like everyone, can you give us a hint a tease maybe. We all promise we are buying it the day it comes out. I am getting both paperbacks that are being reissued on Tuesday too, can't wait to read them. I have conferences to go to this week but I will need something to read at night won't I? Congrats again on the both the book and your health
