Christmas Teas
I’m having my Christmas Teas this week. It was the Knitter’s Tea on Monday. I invite the knitters from the Senior Center and my dearest knitting friends to the house every holiday season. We enjoy wonderful delicacies, conversation, and then a show and tell. Each and every time I come away inspired and encouraged after seeing the lovely knitted and crocheted projects. These are some of the best knitters in the state and I’m proud to know them.

This afternoon it’s the Swimmers Tea and I’m meeting with—naturally--my swimming friends. I’ve been doing laps at the local pool for twenty years now and I’m always amazed how much better we look in clothes!

Re: Christmas Teas
Your teas really sound neat, and I can tell you get a blast out of them, Debbie! Stay safe; I hear parts of WA got some snow-did you have any? We are having loads of much needed rain here in Phoenix, but it's snowing in Flagstaff-YEAH! Thursday morning after work, all things going well, we're heading up there to play in the snow, after I get off work!

Re: Christmas Teas
I agree, we would love to see photos. Here in Spokane we have way more snow than we want. Actually it's the ice underneath causing the problems, the snow itself is beautiful! Your teas sound wonderful. I would love to see all the projects of the knitters and crocheters.

Re: Christmas Teas
Nice to have little teas like that. Right now, I am getting my heart set on grandbabies returning to their birth parents after the new year. Then, once my heart mends I can set myself back into some of the goals I would like to accomplish. I would also like to get back into crocheting again. I never did learn how to knit.

Re: Christmas Teas
I could describe them for you? :)
Debbie's tea's are something that I looked forward to every year! The food, the music, her decorations, the several Nagtivity scenes all over the house, the friends, the mingling.. the food.. did I already mention the food? :)
I would take my daughters with me and we would head over and stay for a couple of hours just chatting with friends as they came and went.. that is truely one thing at Christmas that I miss now that I moved out of the area! - Becky
