One of God's Little Surprises
I worked late last night.  Everyone had already left the office, but I’d decided to keep writing.  As it happened, the office decorators were by that afternoon and my office is all spiffed up for Christmas with lighted wreaths hanging from my turret windows and a swag lining the railings.  Deep in thought and involved in my story, I didn’t glance up until I was closing down my computer, when the most magical thing happened, what I call one of God’s little surprises.  It was snowing; big, fluffy flakes lazily dancing down from heaven.  I stood and watched for several moments and felt this incredible delight.   I do so love Christmastime!

I love your saying of God's little surprises. Some people miss them. I'm reading all of your Angel series again. Love the feeling of God's presence come alive. Thank you for putting it into words. Edith

What a beautiful description. When I left our ladies Bible Study last night...surprise! We had about 1 inch of snow on the ground and a total of 4 this morning. The first snowfall of the season is always so beautiful. Thanks for the reminder to appreciate the beauty of God's creation. Betsy in Spokane

Re: One of God's Little Surprises
We had our first snow a few mornings ago and it was so pretty and white. I still get a kick out of it when my now 9 year old son will say, Mom, Jesus must have had fun up in heaven because we got the leftovers of a pillow fight." The beauty of the Lord and the beauty of our children. We are so blessed and the best time to share it is at Christmastime but would be nice if others would remember to do it year round. God Bless! Drive Safe!

Re: One of God's Little Surprises
I LOVE snow, and I'm so glad you got to enjoy it! My husband and I went to Colorado the weekend before Thanksgiving, and the Rockies are so awesome! We did get snow flurries, but had to come back home before the real stuff hit. Not much snow in Phoenix, but I not only believe in "God's little surprises," I believe in miracles! If the Lord doesn't send snow here, there's always Flagstaff

P.S. I also adore Christmas! I got my tree up, my husband is also putting one up. It has all blue lights, to honor police officers who have been killed in the line of duty.
