Therapeutic Naps
That shout of excitement you just heard is from me! I’m back in the office for the first time since the surgery. We’ll see how it goes.
I hate to admit that I’m having to wean myself off naps. I did all right yesterday but ended up in bed around 8 p.m., which is a tad bit earlier than usual. I feel like I’m six years old again, which is slightly better than last week, when I was sure I had returned to my toddler years. My hope is that I might actually get some work done.

Good Afternoon Debbie,
Oohh to be a kid again just to have the nap time!! I am actually here at work, wanting to be home, curled up on the couch reading my book (Back on Blossom Street). Welcome back to your office. I am sure everyone is Happy you are back. Looking forward to your next creation.
Hugs, JoAnn (Texas)

Debbie,
I am sure your office is celebrating with joy your returning. Put in a good comfortable couch where you can catch up with a little "cat nap" when you need too. They can be therapeutic believe me.

Re: Therapeutic Naps
Congratulations on your return to work! I'm sure everyone in your office is happy to see you again. It will be hard to leave those knitting needles behind won't it? We were on vacation last week at Crater Lake and the Oregon coast and I knitted up 5 sweaters for Guideposts while watching the whales from our balcony. Oh what a life. Too bad it happens only once a year! LOL
Good to have you back! Betsy in Spokane

Re: Therapeutic Naps
Debbie,
When my husband and I welcomed our newest addition, Robyn, who is now almost 11 months old, I would take naps when she did, as she got older, and I returned to work, we realized that we would get sleepy around the same times each day. Not too long ago, my husband was asked if he had watched the previous night's newcast...His response was, "No, when the baby goes to bed, we go to bed." It is so true. But, I would like to say that the urge to nap will subside over time, but it sure is missed, especially in our house! Good luck back at work, and I hope for your continued wellness!
