A wonderful nurse

Wayne has turned out to be a wonderful nurse. He's been tender and patient and hasn't complained once about cooking or doing dishes. The only time he showed the least bit of hesitation was when it came to dressing me in my bra the first time. The doctor suggested I wear a bra that connects in the front. Wayne stared at it in absolute horror. What followed was a comedy of errors. By the time the bra was on and completely hooked up he had broken into a heavy sweat and said, "It was a whole lot easier to get the thing off than on!" I know that this is the one area he's looking forward to me doing myself soon.

Re: A wonderful nurse
Debbie,
You might be able to use some of this new recovery material in a book.

I love it. I read this to my husband and he just grinned. We've "been there, done that" and he has the same feelings as Wayne. :-) Continued get well fast wishes and prayers to you Debbie. Betsy in Spokane

Re: A wonderful nurse
Debbie, I'm happy that you have a good nurse, I have been praying for you, and I am glad that things are going well. My Mom had the same surgery this past November, and is also doing well. I just finished 74 Seaside Avenue, and Knit Together. The books are inspiring. I have given both to my Mother, and she is a new fan! Get well soon! Maggie Rietman

Re: A wonderful nurse
Glad your recovery is going well Debbie. After I had the surgery and I wanted to put my bra on which was a front hook bra, my husband had to untangle my straps or I couldn't get it on. What a hassle but at least we have our "helpers"! Keep doing your therapy nad get well soon! Jean Browning
