I'm off for the next ten days on business, starting with meetings in New York City. From New York I head for Detroit and the start of the tour for KNIT TOGETHER. I’ll be in five cities in as many days. This is a form of speed touring, which should work well. I have a secondary goal, other than meeting my wonderful readers and autographing as many books as possible. My quest is to find a baked potato. As I wrote earlier in the week, the much-loved baked potato has disappeared from Port Orchard restaurants. I’m beginning to wonder if this is an industry trend. Is it any wonder America is in a spiritual and moral decline?????!!!

My husband and I have this "standing joke." He says I want enough for my grandmother and myself of a topping whatever it may be honey, etc. We call it the "Ma syndrome." It's a good thing Debbie. Ma was so special. She was an outstanding cook. When she had a biscuit she put lots of honey on it so that it was dripping everywhere. The same with jelly on her toast. So why on topping on the bake potato.
If you go to knitting, and underneath that click on knitting patterns, there on the far right is the baby blanket from the book on Blossom Street. If you click on that picture it will enlarge and you will get a better look at it. It is a lovely blanket. I am knitting my first one at the present time and I have not been knitting to long. I got the directions off this site but better still I purchased the Leisure Arts booklet 4231 I believe at a Michele's store today where the directions are in a larger print and easier to read. There are several lovely blankets in that booklet which I am interested in personally knitting. Hope this is helpful to you.
